The book recounts the “Millennium Meetings” organized since 1997 as a platform for discussion and an exchange of views between Italcementi, the Italian academic community and the leading international names in contemporary architecture.
The book was issued on the occasion of the opening of the new Research and Innovation Center i.lab, designed by Richard Meier and built in line with the Italcementi Group’s concept of innovation, sustainability and architectural excellence.
This book was meant to tell the Italcementi’s adventure at the Shanghai Expo 2010 and the innovative i.light transparent cement used to build the Italian Pavilion. In the end it turned out to tell the story of the people involved, men and women working together to make this adventure possible.
