The new Milan venue of Fondazione Prada, located in Largo Isarco in Milan and conceived by architecture firm OMA—led by Rem Koolhaas—consists in the redevelopment of an early 20th-century distillery. Striking bright architectural elements are made of a special white concrete by Italcementi.

Paolo VI Audience Hall in Vatican City

Commissioned by Pope Paul VI and designed by Pier Luigi Nervi in Rome in 1971. The building surfaces are made of a special white concrete resulting from research projects at the Italcementi’s laboratories.

MAXXI – National Museum of the 21st Century Arts

Designed by Zaha Hadid it was built in Rome in 2009 using 50,000 m3 of an innovative self-compacting, self-compressing and self-curing concrete, the 3SC, developed by Calcestruzzi (Italcementi Group).
