UNTITLED SINCE NOW, a young and emergent brand in the world of fashion accessories for men, presents KONCRETE K1 the first ever realized concrete bow tie as light as a golf ball.
On Saturday June 1 2013, the last date of the opening week of the Venice Art Biennale, UNTITLED SINCE NOW has organized a preview of KONCRETE K1, in the same location of the Crepaccio Pavilion (Court of Ca’ Soranzo | Campiello de Callegheri), an event for those both with expertise and without. From an idea born of the multi-disciplinary designer Federico Batelli, with the technical advice, testing, and the implementation of the architect Kuno Mayr, and thanks to the Effix Design, high quality cement realized by Italcementi to create design decoration and elements, the concrete bow tie is born, in the spirit of an old fashioned and contemporary urban raw. 100% Made in Italy.
UNTITLED SINCE NOW re-interprets the classic bowtie, – declares Federico Batelli – emerging a raw soul that is lived and “material”. The ephemeral elegance of the bow tie combined with the pure strength of concrete is an original key reading that brings fashion and architecture in an unexpected liaison. This has been made possible thanks to the use of Effix – continues Batelli – a new product for the world of fashion that thanks to it’s plasticity and resistance, allow particularly for the production of small objects that are delicate and light.
