Italcementi and Triennale di Milano: Porto Poetic, an overview of the Portuguese architecture.

“Porto Poetic” takes place under the High Patronage of his Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic and with the involvement of the Canadian Centre for Architecture – CCA as well as the Museum of Modern Art – MoMA.

The exhibition, conceived by architect Roberto Cremascoli, designated curator of the Portuguese Council of Architects – Northern Chapter, will have as theme Porto Poetic and will be an overview of the leading figures Álvaro Siza and Eduardo Souto de Moura, along with other portuguese architects: Fernando Távora, Adalberto Dias, Camilo Rebelo and Tiago Pimentel, Carlos Castanheira, Cristina Guedes and Francisco Vieira de Campos, Isabel Furtado and João Pedro Serôdio, João Mendes Ribeiro, José Carvalho Araújo and Nuno Brandão Costa.

Focusing on the importance of furniture designed by architects as a supplement and enhancement of architectural projects, Porto Poetic will present, in addition to the exhibition, a set of conferences, debates and a publication.

This event will consist in an unique opportunity to present the inner relation between the architectural project and pieces of design as an inclusive part of the architectural concept.
